As I’ve gotten older, my tolerance for a heavy breakfast has only decreased. While I occasionally may enjoy a large breakfast or pancakes, most days I need something that helps me jumpstart the day without leaving me feeling weighed down. An easy breakfast option I’ve enjoyed lately is this chocolate banana breakfast shake made with Carnation Instant Breakfast Rich Milk Chocolate Powder.
I remember my mom mixing Carnation powder with milk for me to enjoy as a kid, but I’ve come to appreciate the convenience of Carnation as an adult as well. Each serving contains 21 vitamins and minerals and 13 grams of protein, plus – it tastes good!
Now, I have not ventured into the world of green smoothies (I just cannot bring myself to do those for breakfast), and there are a few other Carnation recipes I want to try; but for now, I’m content with this delicious option!
CHOCOLATE BANANA BREAKFAST SHAKE
- 1 packet Carnation Instant Breakfast Rich Milk Chocolate Powder Drink Mix
- 3/4 cup Fair Life milk
- 1/2 Banana
- 1 cup Ice
Blend all ingredients in blender, and enjoy!
