I think the last time I was super into Valentine’s Day was as a kid in grammar (and maybe middle) school. Decorating your valentines box – the one you made using an old shoe box – and then picking out and handing out Valentine’s Day cards to your friends and childhood crush. You know what I’m talking about!
While my sentiments on Valentine’s Day may have changed, the heart behind it hasn’t – and that, I can appreciate any day of the year. Be it an extraordinary act of kindness, a sweet note, time spent together, or a delicious meal or treat, let’s love our people well!
