Easter is just around the corner, and I am SO excited to again put together an Easter basket for Rosemary. I’ve been thinking about what to fill it with because there is a lot out there, and it can sometimes feel like an overwhelming excess of STUFF. Easter baskets seem to have become this whole event!
Growing up, I remember my parents keeping it simple – a basket filled with mostly candies or treats, and we loved it. (The big, chocolate bunnies!!) I like the idea of simple and fun. This year, we’re thinking a book, slippers, and a couple of Rosemary’s favorite snacks (these and these), but I’ve also found some other great ideas. Over the weekend, I spotted this adorable tumbler and flowerpot set! I can’t get over the egg chalk, or how about that tic tac toe game? Bubbles are always a hit, too. I love gingham pajamas for spring and summer, and the set above also comes in blue. It’s all so much fun, but no matter what you decide to fill their baskets with, the best part is that we celebrate a resurrected Savior!
