Crispy Baked Chicken Thighs

crisp_chicken_thighs_fullAlright, friends. You know I love a good mealtime recipe that is easy and delicious. I’m convinced that these recipes make cooking more enjoyable because if you can whip up something you and your spouse and fam will love that’s more wholesome, better for you, and doesn’t call for an obnoxious amount of ingredients (which means less fuss and less mess), well then, you better believe you’re happier for it!

This recipe is fairly new. We’ve baked these chicken thighs just a handful of times, but they are packed with flavor and finished with the perfect amount of crispness. Plus, they’re husband approved, and any entree that gets a thumbs up from Pitt is a win in my book! Serve with veggies or a salad, and you’re good to go.

Here’s the recipe.

Ingredients:

  • Chicken thighs
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Pat chicken thighs dry with paper towel.

Line baking sheet with foil. Coat top of chicken thighs with olive oil. Place on baking sheet, skin side up.

Mix together all seasoning in bowl. Sprinkle over chicken thighs.

Bake at 425 for 35-45 minutes, until juices run clear.
