Pretty & Functional Kitchen Items

I have taken a strong liking to time in the kitchen over the last couple years. From whipping up homemade baked goods to creating freshly made meals while a great playlist plays in the background, it has been such a delight for me to serve my family in this way and still make it an enjoyable experience for myself.

Today, I’m sharing some pretty and functional kitchen items that I love and that I think you’ll love, too. I own each of these items and can attest to their purpose and ability to add joy to your kitchen experience.

Like The Cook’s Atelier, a stunning cookbook from mother-daughter duo, Marjorie Taylor and Kendall Smith Franchini. It tells the story of how Marjorie and Kendall came to create their French cooking school in the heart of Burgundy, France and features the most amazing recipes. The imagery is beautiful and their story so well written, this is one cookbook you’ll treasure. Then there’s my favorite apron from Heirloomed. I have an older style, but the new is just as much a classic and can be monogrammed. I absolutely love this cake stand and this sugar bowl and baking sheet, and this hand soap is a fall favorite! I’ve been filling my recipe box with the best recipes on these cards, and these glasses are just gorgeous. If you don’t have one, you need a meat thermometer – rest assured it’s done! Couldn’t go a day without these measuring cups or our hand towels. Our tried and true dutch oven is the ultimate in beauty and function, and at an approachable price point. Finally, I couldn’t not mention this pastry blender, the perfect tool for making Saturday morning scones!
